In continuation of #Inky5DayChallenge I wanted to reflect on a tip that deeply affects and drives my creative process.

This tip, or in may case my creative support friend, is my texture archive. I have piles and piles of textures and images that I have printed, I see them as my personalised paintbrushes. I cut them apart physically or digitally, and when I'm feeling creatively stuck, I rip them up and throw them on the floor, and they tell me what they want to be that day.

I do have some news...a huge win!!! After mountains of support from @inkygoodnesscollective and all the incredible artists, friends and family cheering me on...I did it! I have launched my website!

It's not my first ever website, this comes after years of doubt, hiding and working behind the scenes on my artistic voice, and I finally feel ready to share it with you all! I'd love for you to explore my website and if you read through this post, there's a little thank you gift for the first lucky 5!

I have loved the motivation from @inkygoodnesscollective on showing a bit more into my creative world! And just seeing all the incredible artists out there in our community, who they are, how they are, how they make and create! It's been really inspiring ✨️

So here I am, a left handed dyslexic, with a story to tell. My weird internal universe is finally ready to share my story, because I have always felt so strongly that I have something to say. ♥️

So, after years of healing (and continuing to do so), and the warm never ending encouragement of the @inkygoodnesscollective community, I truly feel like its time to show you what I’ve been so bravely hiding, my beautiful creative self. 🌞

An incredible clay workshop weekend with @merima.fetahovic and @willisceramics , patiently waiting to see my little Nelly the Ox fired so I can maybe play with some color! Thank you Merima for the encouragement and wisdom. Thank you Willis Family for starting my clay adventures way back in clay camp! Clay is such a beautiful medium to play with, it brings me peace, and when you get a group of creatives together, beginners or advanced, something magical happens 🌸♥️✨️🙃
